Khoon Hooi

Khoon Hooi is a modern occasion wear label founded in 1999 by Malaysian designer Lee Khoon Hooi, serving new luxury to women across the globe. The eponymous brand effortlessly melds technical craftsmanship with an artisanal approach, complementing its indulgent aesthetic with signature imaginative beading techniques and delicate feather detailing applied by professional artisans onto clean-cut fabrics with the finest textures and finishing.

Every piece is made with luxurious materials, with a strong play on unique, voluminous silhouettes. Under the Creative Director's direction, the label has participated in Paris Fashion Week's Tranoï since 2010, and has won numerous awards across Malaysia and the wider region. Its designs have been worn by Hollywood celebrities at movie premieres and major awards events, including the Screen Actors Guild Awards, Golden Globe Awards, and Vanity Fair's Oscar Parties in Los Angeles.

Collections often draw on rich, evocative inspiration — from sun-soaked Italian summer soirées to oriental opulence for festive occasion dressing — always filtered through the brand's core identity of imaginative embellishment and confident, sculptural shape.
