Ziad Nakad

In 1997, a young couturier from Beirut stepped onto the runway of the Beirut International Fashion Show for Couture and introduced the world to an atelier bearing his own name. Ziad Nakad's earliest designs, first sketched for the women of his own family, carried an instinct for unconventional beading and eccentric fabrication that would come to define nearly three decades of Lebanese couture. What began in a single Beirut atelier has since travelled to the runways of Milan and Paris, the red carpets of Cannes, and the wardrobes of clients across the Gulf and beyond.

Nakad's hand is unmistakable in the finished garment, with structured tailoring built to flatter the female form, sculpted draping, and a jeweler's patience for hand-set crystals and beadwork. Each piece moves through the atelier's hands far more than any machine, with layers of embellishment applied one by one until the fabric itself seems lit from within. It is this artisanal process, paired with a considered palette of silks, tulles, and laces, that has made the house a reference point for occasion dressing across the region.

Today, Ziad Nakad works across haute couture, ready-to-wear, and bridal, and has been named among Forbes Middle East's Fashion Innovators for his contributions to the region's fashion landscape. On HERTROVE, we curate the pinnacle of his ready-to-wear and couture collections, pieces built for the woman who arrives, rather than attends.

设计师对话 — HERTROVE 独家呈现

Ziad Nakad is built for entrances rather than everyday wear — black-tie galas, red-carpet appearances, formal weddings, and Mother of the Bride occasions where a considered, statement silhouette is expected. The heavier the occasion, the more naturally a Ziad Nakad piece belongs in the room.
