Catherine Regehr

A Canadian couturier whose creations are revered by royalty, film stars, and international society alike, Catherine Regehr transforms the wild beauty of the Pacific Northwest into extraordinary eveningwear. Her designs are a rare treasure on Hertrove for the woman who appreciates wearable art at exclusive museum galas, diplomatic receptions, and distinguished cultural events. Her piece features her iconic laser-cut silk botanicals — painstaking recreations of leaves, kelp, and abstract blossoms that float from the fabric in breathtaking three-dimensional detail.

Raised in the Yukon and trained in sculpture and painting at Emily Carr College of Art and Design, Regehr then studied fashion at the Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne under the legendary Madame Gres. After working on Seventh Avenue for Anne Klein in New York, she returned to Vancouver in 1986 to establish her own house. Her collections are handcrafted by a devoted atelier team who meticulously laser-cut, sew, and press each silk element by hand.

Sought after by Saudi princesses, Russian elite, and New York society, Regehr now co-designs with her daughter Eva, bringing a new generational perspective to the brand. Her work occupies a singular niche in luxury fashion — where the untamed beauty of Canada's North meets the exacting standards of Parisian haute couture.
