ستيفان رولان هو واحد من أربعة عشر مصممًا فقط معترفًا بهم رسميًا من قِبل غرفة نقابة الأزياء الراقية، مما يُثبت براعته في عالم الأزياء الراقية. وُلد في باريس عام ١٩٦٦، وتدرب في مدرسة غرفة نقابة الأزياء الراقية الباريسية، وعمل لدى بالنسياغا وجان لوي شيرير. اشتهر رولان بفساتينه ذات الطابع النحتي والهندسي، وقد زيّنت تصاميمه السجادة الحمراء ومشاهير مثل ليدي غاغا وبيونسيه والملكة رانيا، ملكة الأردن.
