Stéphane Rolland is one of only a handful of designers officially recognized by the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture, a testament to his mastery of high fashion. At 24, he launched his own ready-to-wear line before signing an exclusive luxury uniform license with the House of Pierre Balmain — a venture so successful that more than 170 companies around the world entrusted him with their image.
At 30, Rolland attained the title of Official Couturier, signing for ten years the haute couture and ready-to-wear collections of the House of Jean-Louis Scherrer on Avenue Montaigne. Alongside his couture work, he designed for both cinema and theatre, spending five consecutive years as an official partner of the Cannes Film Festival, with his costumes for the play Amadeus earning him two nominations at the Molières ceremony in Paris.
In 2007, Rolland opened his own Haute Couture house, endorsed by the Fédération de la Couture and the Ministry of Industry.
